Slow Vinyasa..Rise wise with a slow flow. Lezlee is gonna get you moving gently to help you ease you into your weekend. Creating Balance with Yoga Therapy
Description: Yoga practices help us cultivate wellness in body, mind, and emotional heart. Learn philosophies that yoga therapists use as the basis of their practice and how to apply this wisdom in self-care. Yoga is way more than movement! Meditation, mantra, philosophy, intentional breath, and postures all work together to help support humans in liberating themselves from suffering. Together, we will learn how, why, and when to apply these practices. Bring a blanket or towel to sit on, water, and an enthusiasm to dive deep into You!
Primal Scream Workshop
The Facilitator:
Kim, 200 HR RYT, Reiki II practitioner, compelled to empower others in the innate ability to heal themselves, created offerings in South Jersey to provide meditation, yoga, breath work, primal scream, energy work, ecstatic dance, and various workshop gatherings. Through their journey with intuitive energy work, Kim has embodied an offering of love and support to those that experience these gatherings. With mindfulness practices and compassionate acceptance, they hope to empower others in experiencing inner awareness and wellness.
This is an outdoors event, please dress accordingly. Bring what will be of comfort for you (blanket, pillow, yoga mat, water, snackies, warm clothes). Please bring a notebook and pencil.
This is your invitation to become unhinged by utilizing movement and vocal expressions. Make animal noises, run around on all fours, and open the full authenticity of your wild humanness! Feel accepted in all your weirdness . It will be an empowering and cathartic experience that can release physical tensions, patterns of not enoughness, and help tap into self confidence and acceptance through moving and emoting.
>> SHARING + RELEASING: Dropping in with each other, sharing where we are and what is alive in us currently. Writing down what we wish to let go of that is no longer resonating with us, and throwing it into the fire.
>> PRIMAL MOVEMENT: Moving the body to different beats and sounds that bring energy to the surface. With that energy, bringing our inner + outer voices together as we travel towards catharsis.
>> PRIMAL SCREAMING: An opportunity to participate in a group catharsis. To reach a level of expression that is intentional and effective. We invite you to use your voice in any way you feel called to. That could look like screaming, howling, singing, or nothing at all. Feel free to come in any way that feels right.
The focus of intent is to disperse stuck energy by using the power of your mind expressed through your breathing and screaming.
> MEDITATION + INTEGRATION: A 15 minute Group Meditation will follow , allowing one to integrate the vocal and energetic expressions. Energy work is provided during the Meditation for those that feel called to experience it .
